As we move through winter and sick season, it’s important to make sure you’re giving your immune system every possible advantage.


There are three vitamins (and one mineral) that could be especially important:

  • Vitamin C helps your immune system in two powerful ways: it boosts the ability of your white blood cells to move to and fight off infection, and it also helps protect your body’s tissues from damage during this process.

  • Vitamin D3 helps your body’s defense cells function effectively and supports overall immune response, as well as increasing your body’s ability to absorb calcium. It’s probably best to take Vitamin K2 alongside D3 because K2 helps direct calcium to the right places in your body, like your bones and teeth, and prevents it from accumulating where it shouldn’t, such as in your arteries.

  • Zinc helps your body fight off invading bacteria and viruses and is essential for maintaining overall immune health.
