It's that time of year - Annual Reviews launch today

ree

It's time now to complete our annual performance evaluation surveys for 2023. This is a very important process, not only to ensure that we are accomplishing the goals of the association with a focus on our core values and strategic plan, but also to ensure that you have the tools and resources to achieve success and the platform to discuss your individual goals. Your feedback is critical to both of these objectives.

The process will look a little different this year. Instead of using SurveyMonkey to facilitate the process, the entire review process will be administered by and contained within our ADP Workforce Now platform. This will not only be a more efficient process, but it will also allow you to complete and save portions of your review and come back and complete the rest later. For supervisors, you’ll have more visibility into the statuses of your team members’ progress and immediate access to completed reviews.

Here's how the process will work:

November 20: Employees will get an email from ADP notifying you that your self-assessment form is available for you within your ADP Dashboard. Anyone hired before 10/1/24 will receive this notice and participate in the process.

There will be a link in that message that will take you to the assessment. You can always go straight to ADP, go to the “Myself” tab and find “Performance Dashboard” under the “Talent” header.

Supervisors, you will receive two messages. One is the same as above, directing you to complete your own self-assessment. The other will be directing you to provide feedback on each of your team members. To find these directly, go to ADP, go to the “My Team” tab and find “Performance Dashboard” under the “Talent” header. Click on each team member and you will be directed to the “Provide Feedback” button to complete your portion of each team member’s review.

December 31: Due date for all self-assessments. ADP will provide reminders and notices to supervisors when deadlines are approaching or items are past due. This is a hard deadline and will impact the compensation adjustment process.

January 17:  Due date for all supervisor feedback. This can be done at any time and does not have to wait employees complete their self-assessment. The review form is automatically released to employees after the supervisor completes their review.

January 31: Deadline for all supervisor/employee in-person meetings to discuss the reviews and set goals for 2025. This is a hard deadline and will impact the compensation adjustment process, so please get these on the calendar.

End of Q1:  Compensation adjustment process begins. Why so late? We always wait until the end of the first quarter to see whether dues revenue supports our budget. More than 80% of Texas REALTORS® revenue comes from dues and has a major impact on our ability to support the operations of the organization.

Salary Grade Ranges are currently being updated according to employment wage inflation data from our compensation consulting partner, CBIZ, which utilizes a combination of data from the U.S. Department of Labor Statistics Employment Cost Index as well as the WorldatWork 2024-2025 Salary Budget Survey, which is a historically trusted source for structure update forecasts. Accordingly, the entire structure (range minimums, midpoints and maximums) are being increased by 3.2% for 2025. That is not a benchmark for raise amounts. Raise amounts will be determined once Q1 revenue is available and considered.

Performing this process through ADP is a new process, so we’ll all approach this with a little flexibility and grace (while respecting timelines.) Please reach out if you encounter any problems within the ADP platform
