It's time for the annual Texas REALTORS® Summer Staff Event

Special thanks to the Social Committee for planning this fun event for all staff.

Mark your calendars and get ready for some fun, because our annual Summer Staff Event is just around the corner! Join us on May 31st from 11 AM to 3 PM down on P2 for an unforgettable day packed with food, fun, games, and the best company - you! (Add to your calendar)

This is an ALL STAFF event, including remote staff.

What’s on the Menu?

  • Tacos Galore: Cabo Bob’s is rolling in with their legendary tacos! And yes, there are plenty of delicious meat and non-meat options to enjoy.

  • Sno Cones: Back by popular demand, the The Shaved Ice Island truck will be here once again to keep you cool in the Texas heat.

What About Dessert? That's up to you! The Great Texas REALTORS® Summer Bake Off is back. All are invited (and encouraged) to enter. Voting will take place during the event and end promptly at 1:00pm. The Champion will receive a $50 gift card, the official Texas REALTORS® Summer Dessert Champion trophy, and, most importantly, bragging rights until next year! All participants will receive a small prize. See last year's post for more - the details are the same. Click here to enter the contest by May 29.

What’s the Plan?

  • Feast on tasty eats

  • Sip on refreshing bevvies of all sorts

  • Play games that’ll bring out your competitive spirit

  • Enjoy great music and even better conversations

What Do I Wear? Last year, we got questions about attire for the day. Most notably..."Can I wear shorts?" In short (pun intended,) "Heck yeah, have you been outside lately?" Probably the intent of this question is whether we can wear shorts and hot-weather clothes to the office during our 8:30-11:00a business hours.

Answer: Dress comfortably for the whole day, since most of it will be spent outdoors. Keep business etiquette in mind for those working hours? Like, if you're planning on a tank top for the BBQ, you might wear a work-appropriate shirt over it in the morning and then take it off when the outdoor event starts. Or whatever...don't overthink it...we're adults in an office.
