Join us for an overview of Microsoft Planner and hear from resident Planner expert Jami Sims on how she uses the software to run programs and projects for Governmental Affairs.

Friday, August 26 - 12pm Committee Staff Liaison Training

Working with committee volunteers and leadership is vital to our work. This session will cover expectations of staff liaisons, strategies for addressing issues that arise, an orientation to parliamentary procedure, and provide the opportunity for discussion/best-practice sharing. *More information will be sent to committee liaisons.

Friday, September 9 – 10-11:30am Shaping Texas Pre-Conference Meeting

This meeting is for all staff attending the 2022 Texas REALTORS conference. We will go over meeting logistics, expectations of staff, how to make the most of the conference experience, and have time for discussion and questions.

The 2023-2024 Strategic Plan will guide our work for the next two years. This Collaborative Conversation is an opportunity to hear from Mike Barnett about the pillars of the plan, how this one is different from previous versions, and discuss how we will work together to meet the strategic objectives of the plan.

Friday, October 28 – 10-11am Respectful Workplace Training (Mandatory for All Staff)

This session will cover our workplace harassment policy and the many ways we can protect ourselves and each other. Note that this session is mandatory for all staff, and managers should plan for an additional 30 minutes (10-11:30am). Please make every effort to attend in person. Remote staff may attend via Zoom. Anyone not able to attend on 10/28 will be required to view a recorded version.

Over the course of the last year, Professional Development, Global, Commercial, & Diversity Services, and Board Services have combined to become one department. Join in conversation with the new department to hear about how things have changed, the services offered to local associations and members, and meet the staff.

Friday, November 18 – 9am-4pm At Home with Diversity

Tailored specifically for Texas REALTORS staff, this course focuses on diversity, equity, inclusion, and how we can best serve all members. This course will take place in person, with a break for lunch. Attendees will be eligible to receive the AHWD designation from NAR upon completion, with fees covered by Texas REALTORS.

The performance evaluation process should be a learning tool for employees and supervisors. During this session, Mike Barnett will cover the expectations of the 2022 performance evaluation process and we will discuss how to accurately assess your own performance.
