New year, new updates to the Employee Handbook

In 2023, we were proud to add a number of new benefits to being a part of the team at Texas REALTORS®, including two additional office closure dates, quicker access to additional earned vacation days and a paid vision insurance plan. Those changes, along with other clarifications, have been integrated into the Employee Handbook which has been updated and posted to the Key Resources page of the Bulletin site and within ADP Workforce Now.

For transparency, here is an overview of the changes:

1.) The first change simply adds clarity to ensure our employment practices are not discriminatory.

2.) This change recognizes that we have open parking (in association spots) rather than assigned spaces.

3.) The third change relates to work location to conform with hybrid work, where applicable.

4.) This change adds Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Columbus/Indigenous People's Day to the list of office holidays.

5.) This amendment reflects the change to accrual of earned vacation days, removing the waiting period before extra days are added.

6.) Finally, this change reflects the addition of the association-funded vision plan employee benefit.
