Paws for a Moment: Pet Sharing Is Here Again

Lets bring back sharing our beloved fur babies. We love to talk about our pets in The Bulletin, so send in those photos and info and we'll get them posted here.

We’d like to introduce Linda’s cat, Jacob. He is affectionately known as her “Curse of the J’s” kitty from when she first got him. He was found outside under a washing machine and a friend asked if Linda could take him in with the intention of finding him a home. Well… that was 13 years ago!

Jacob is very food-motivated and a little needy at times. His favorite toy is a hair tie, though he also has a mouse toy he carries in his mouth while meowing like a little security blanket. He has an adorable tuft of hair on his forehead that sticks up like a unicorn, often called his “Alfalfa” hair.

He can be a bit feisty! On one occasion, while Linda was trying to protect her older cat from Jacob’s displaced anger, he scratched and bit badly enough to require three stitches.

One of the most entertaining things about Jacob is watching him run across the wood floors, performing a full “Tokyo Drift” from room to room.
