Remembering a friend

It was with a tremendously heavy heart that we announced the passing of Eric Lindsey who was involved in a fatal car crash on Sunday, July 18. Eric was a member of the Texas REALTORS® family since coming on in February 2010 in our Facilities Department. After years serving all of us in that capacity, he joined the Professional Development Department where he got to spread his constant cheer and member-first approach with members and local associations across the state. Eric was known so well by all of us for his caring and cheerful attitude and kindness. He will be sorely missed.

A visitation is to be held Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm with a celebration of life service to follow beginning at 3:00 pm at Lake Shore Funeral Home & Crematory, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.

At Eric's request, guests are invited to wear Hawaiian shirts and flip flops. Many know of Eric's passion for Jeeps, hence the picture, and his friends are inviting those with Jeeps to drive their Jeeps to the service.

For those interested, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to help Eric's family with the expenses for arrangements.
