We’re Glad You’re Here, Amanda!

Amanda joined the staff on July 14th as a Membership Coordinator in the Membership Department. With a passion for service and a strong commitment to supporting our members, she brings great energy and enthusiasm to the role. Amanda is excited to contribute to the work of the department and looks forward to getting to know the people and purpose behind Texas REALTORS®. Here are some fun facts she shared with us:

• "Born in Oklahoma (boomer sooner!😉) and moved to Dallas, TX at a young age. I was raised in Dallas and moved to Austin just a few years ago; I absolutely love it here and do not miss that Dallas traffic!"

• "I was a veterinary technician for 8 years, and on my very first day, I held a python for an exam; he was so sweet!"

• "Proud cat mom to a very cuddly orange tabby named Thomas; he’s my only child, but he would for sure betray me for belly rubs and treats. 😊"

• "My favorite pastime is reading far too many fantasy novels."

• "I am a firm believer that a good breakfast taco must start with a fresh homemade tortilla, and this is non-negotiable."

• "My favorite color is pink, and that pretty much sums me up as a person."

• "I LOVE to travel, and I try to fit in spontaneous trips as often as possible. I’ve been to England and most of Eastern Europe; I’m a WWII nut (thanks to my dad), and I’m fascinated by the history that lives in the cities over there!"

• "I love all genres of music, but my favorite is anything 90s alternative."
