Welcome to the Team, Melvin!

Melvin Queton joined the Association and Member Development Department on April 14, 2026, as an Education Program Coordinator. He brings an interest in learning and professional growth and is looking forward to becoming more familiar with the people and work that support Texas REALTORS®. We’re pleased to have Melvin on board and look forward to the contributions and perspective he will bring to the team.

Here are some fun facts he shared with us:

• "I am a part of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma

• My Kiowa name is Payotkee, it means “Flying Man”.

• I love to build model kits. Primarily Gunpla and other Mechas.

• Self teaching myself is one of my main hobbies, currently learning Japanese and drawing.

• My daughter and I love getting Korean BBQ!

• Eggs are my absolute favorite food, I am one of those who will eat breakfast foods anytime.

• I love learning obscure animal facts.

• I have developed a massive interest in Japanese horse racing, the history, the culture and all the little details around it."
