A new face in East Texas

ree

Many of us know that after nearly 17 years with Texas REALTORS®, East Texas Field Representative Pete Craig is retiring and taking a well-deserved slow-down from the fast pace of field rep life. Don't worry, there will be a whole other post of Pete's contributions to Texas REALTORS® and the industry.

As we anticipate that transition, we're thrilled to welcome Greg Laudadio to the team. Greg joined us on September 1 as East Texas Field Representative and has the great benefit of some overlap while Pete is still with us. Field Representatives play a critical role at Texas REALTORS® as they not only work as part of the Governmental Affairs team to engage members at the grassroots level on our advocacy initiatives, but are also great ambassadors and liaisons with the many local associations around the state. Need to get a message out or promote a program regionally or statewide, works with the field reps. Have you seen the field rep video?

To help us welcome Greg to the team, here are some fun facts he shared with us about himself:

  • Born and raised in Dallas, Texas.

  • Attended SFA in Nacogdoches.

  • Married wife Renee’ in 2001.

  • Moved to Palestine, Texas in 2005 and bought and renovated a 120 year old historic home.

  • Gained experience in local and regional government through serving as City Planner and Economic Development Director for the City of Palestine.

  • Love Texas history and historic architecture.

  • Love to travel.

  • Love DIY projects (aka honey-do list).

  • Love great food and wine.

  • Love vegetable gardening.

  • Love cooking for friends and family.

  • Built our current home in the country in 2017.

  • A self described “bird nerd” I have identified 96 species on our property so far this year. (still counting)

  • Spend as much time in the outdoors as possible hiking, kayaking, birdwatching, fly fishing, camping…. wait no more camping (Renee’ requires hotel accommodations).

  • Looking forward to getting to know my new coworkers, representing Texas REALTORS®, and serving our East Texas
