Another new, well-traveled team member to introduce

Meet Kelsey Vanderbilt. She joined the Texas REALTORS® Family on August 8 as Associate Counsel in our Legal Department. In this role, she'll work with the Legal team to deliver a wide array of services to the association and our members, including ethics and arbitration services, Legal Hotline, legal and risk reduction resources and articles for members, forms, contracts and many other important services. Welcome to the team Kelsey. Here are some fun facts she shared with us:

• Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area;

• Proud Texas Ex, Hook’em Horns!;

• Graduated from SMU Dedman School of Law;

• Biked from Austin to Anchorage, Alaska in college with Texas 4000 for Cancer; I also met my husband in this organization;

• Previously taught 7th grade in the Washington D.C area;

• Favorite golf course is Wailea Golf Club in Maui; I dream of playing St. Andrews;

• Happy hour drink of choice is a tart margarita;

• Has an 11-month Golden Retriever named Brodie who loves tennis balls more than anything;

• Love pickles and pepperoncini;

• Traveled to 20 countries; studied abroad in Guatemala. My favorite trip so far was to Peru to hike Machu Picchu.
