Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Karen Hattaway, who joined Texas REALTORS® as a Staff Attorney on April 28, 2025. Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team, and we're excited to have her on board as she supports our mission to serve and advocate for our REALTOR® members across the state. • "Born in Fort Worth but my family left TX before I was a year old."

• "Went to undergrad and law school at Boston University (great hockey team, but no football team)."

• "Moved back to TX after law school and have lived in Austin since 1994."

• "Worked in TX state government for 30 years."

• "Have two sons (24 and 16 years old)."

• "Spend several hours a month volunteering with Mobile Loaves and Fishes."

• "Love watching all sports, especially basketball and soccer."

• "Favorite place I have ever traveled to is the Okavango Delta in Botswana."
