Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Cori Conner, who joined Texas REALTORS® as Senior Associate Counsel in the Legal Affairs department on May 27, 2025. Cori brings a strong background in law and a passion for supporting those she serves, and we're excited to have her on board as she contributes to our mission to serve and advocate for our REALTOR® members across the state. Please take a moment to get to know Cori a little better through a few fun facts she shared with us!

• Born right here in Austin and grew up near beautiful Inks Lake in the Texas Hill Country.

• Graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Government. (She tried Texas A&M for a year but, sorry Aggies, it wasn’t for her—maybe just homesick?)

• Earned her law degree from Baylor Law School in Waco.

• Recently celebrated her 26th wedding anniversary with her husband.

• Has two amazing sons, ages 16 and 19. Her oldest will be a sophomore at Baylor, and her youngest is a junior in high school.

• Proud dog mom to a Malti-poo and a Goldendoodle. Her goldendoodle is so smart she can open doors—sometimes a little too smart!

• Loves giving back to the community and serves alongside her sons through the Young Men’s Service League, volunteering at least 20 hours together each year.

• Avid reader—especially of historical fiction. She’s read every night for 357 weeks straight (according to Kindle, anyway!).

• Favorite season? Football season—some people call it “Fall.”

• Favorite pastime is traveling with her husband and sons—they take a ski trip every year, which she calls "heaven on Earth."

• A former marathon and ultramarathon runner, and hopes to run a half marathon again someday (knee willing!).

• Once asked if she’d rather be the smartest or the funniest person in the room—she chose funniest, because she loves making people laugh (even if her teenage sons say she mostly just cracks herself up!).
