This week, we added a new member to the Professional Development team. Monique Hurd officially started on Tuesday, December 7 as Operations Coordinator for the department, but has been with us in a temporary capacity for the last couple of weeks.
Welcome aboard, Monique. Here are some fun facts she shared with us:
Raised and lived in Southern California until moving to Austin in September.
She has three children and four beautiful granddaughters.
Favorite movies? Big Trouble in Little China and the original Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
What are some of the highlights of her life? Winning on The Price is Right and meeting former President Bill Clinton.
Seafood is her favorite food and she loves to hunt for great antiques and treasures at estate sales and Goodwill.
