Welcome to the Texas REALTORS® Family

This week, we welcomed a new colleague to the REALTOR® Family!

A big welcome to Cleo Salazar, who started on December 23 as MBM Bookkeeper in our Membership & Accounting Department. In this role, she will work not only with Debbie Adams and her own department, but closely with Board Services which includes the Multi-Board Management (MBM) Program. This program provides management services for local associations with less than 200 members. Here are a few fun facts Cleo has shared with us:

• Raised in Deep South Texas (The Valley)

• Attended Pan American University (Edinburg, TX), known now as UTRGV

• I knew I was going to be in accounting at the age of 9. My dad had a farm and we sold Livestock and Crops. I did all the family bookkeeping (40 years in accounting)

• My real name is Cleotilde, but I figured no one could say it right, so I choose to go by Cleo.

• I’m not your typical woman, I love driving big trucks because I grew up on a ranch and you get a better view from up there.

• People always ask what I’m on because I’m always on a natural high, my energy is overwhelming at times.

• I have 8 grandchildren and they are the center of my world! Expensive, but got to love them!

• I love watching football, (Dallas Cowboys) but I really love crime shows... like “48 hours“

• I can eat a dozen tacos and not feel guilty about it!

• Beach girl all year round!
