Welcoming a familiar face

Today, we are formerly introducing a team member that many of us have known for some time. Nefertiti Hernandez spent the better part of 2022 assisting the TREPAC accounting team, but as a contracted temporary worker. She did a great job and fit in so well with the team that she accepted a permanent position with our Membership Department on January 3 as a Membership Coordinator. In this role, she works with the Membership team to provide excellent customer service to members, assist with dues processing and maintaining membership records.

Here are some fun fact Nefertiti shared with us:

• Born in Central America, I was raised in San Francisco, CA

• Moved to Texas in 2004

• I am the second oldest of 5 siblings.

• I enjoy trying new foods, dancing, and gathering with friends

• I think audio books are awesome! Now I read- (listen) to the end of the book. Unlike, with paperbacks

• My husband never wanted me to bring a dog home. Now, he’s like “Dad’s with dogs they didn’t want” from a Tiktok video.

• On weekends hubby and I enjoy walking “Soleil” our lab (4 legged grandchild), for a 3 mile walk at Zilker Park

• I have two kids – my daughter is 21 and my son 23.- Both acquiring their academics in the medical field

• I’m afraid of heights, was convinced to zipline across the tropical forest of Costa Rica. Attached is a pic to prove it!
