What you do matters, in a real way.

Our team often asks questions around here that data wonks love to dig into. This week, the GA and AMD teams posed a great question about communicating the tangible value of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program (TRLP). We thought we’d share the findings as a testament to the incredible service our organization provides to members through you—our dedicated team of professionals.

The question was essentially "How do the attrition rates (continuing membership versus dropping out) compare between general members and those who earn a TRLP designation?" Here's what we found.

Since the inception of the TRLP program, 2,669 REALTORS® have earned the designation and 79% are still active today. (This number excludes nearly 400 TRLP graduates from other member classes, such as Affiliates.)

Let's take a deeper dive and look at members who joined Texas REALTORS® since January 1, 2010:

  • Of all REALTOR® members who joined since 2010, 56% remain active members today.

  • Of REALTOR® members who joined since 2010, 1,071 earned their TRLP designation and an impressive 87% are still active today.

  • That means, of this group, TRLP graduates were 56% more likely to remain active members compared to those who did not earn the designation.

What's the point? The programs and services you all work on day in and day out have a lasting and real impact on our members' success.
